Goal: To eliminate the other players by touching their hand.
To play: Have the children stand in a circle facing each other. The children all bow, then strike a Ninja pose.
Player #1 starts by making a quick movement toward the hand of the child to her/her right (player #2), while yelling "Ki-ya!" Player #2 moves to avoid the attack in one swift movement. If player #2's hand is struck, player #2 must leave the game.
Play continues to the next child on the right, so that player #2 tries to strike the hand of player #3, etc. A player must leave the game if their hand is struck.
Important: Once a player attacks or moves to avoid an attack, they must FREZE in the position they left off. For example, if a player swings their arm upward to avoid an attack, they must keep their arm in this upward position until it is their next turn.
A player may choose to use their turn to reposition their stance, rather than attacking on their turn, if they wish.
The game continues until only one child is left. The last child left in the game is the winner.
This game helps improve reflexes, speed, and agility.
