Martial Arts brads add a wonderful touch to your Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Jujitsu, Judo, or any style Martial Artist's scrapbooking pages. Each package contains 12 brads in an assortment of Martial Arts poses, all with white gi uniforms and different belt colors including white, orange, blue and black belts. (One customer, who wished these came with a figure in a red belt, told us that she simply took a toothpick and some red acrylic paint and painted one of the white belts red.) Very intricate and high quality, we know you will be pleased with these unique embellishments for your Martial Arts scrapbook pages or other craft project or poster.
How do you use brads? They hold an item, such as a photograph, a saved ticket, or an award certificate, onto you scrapbook page. Rather than just gluing your item to your page, you push the pointed back of each brad through your item and then through your page, then turn the page over and open the clasp to lock the item into place. They work in the same way as a clasp on a manilla envelope, for example.
You will find many other uses for these little brads, too. For example, you might use one each day on a chore chart for a young Martial Artist student, as a reward token when he or she has successfully completed all their chores that day. These may also be used as push pins or thumb tacks on a bulletin board in a Martial Artist's bedroom or in the dojo classroom.
Each brad is 5/8 of an inch tall. The front is a slightly raised painted metal, so they add a dimensional quality to your scrapbook pages without adding too much bulk. Because of their small size, please keep these away from children under 5 years old.
