Embroidered black belts and other custom embroidered rank colors
Product Description
Order your Martial Arts rank belt custom embroidered with text and bars to your exact specifications. You select the belt color, the embroidery thread color, the bar color, and the placement.
Each line of text may be up to 16 characters, including spaces.
Shown here in the first image (click to enlarge) is a black belt with one, two, three or four lines of text in gold. You may choose the black belt or other belt color, and you may specify the color for the text to be embroidered in gold thread, red thread, white thread, or black thread. (For example, black embroidery thread looks nice on a yellow belt.)
Shown here in the second image (click to enlarge) is the black belt with one, two or three gold bars which indicate first, second or third dan or degree. You may specify no bars or the number of bars, the color for the bars, and the placement of the bars. In the image here, the bars are placed on the "left" side.
The third image is a photograph (click to enlarge) of a belt we recently embroidered for a customer. This was a black belt with two lines of embroidered text in gold, plus two bars in gold on the left end of the belt. Each text line is about 7.5 inches long and 3/4 inch tall. We adjust the proportions of the text lines to accomodate the length of your text and the number of lines so that your belt will have the best possible appearance.
You may also choose if you want the text to be embroidered in an upward or downward direction. Shown in the photograph here, the text is printed downward. That is, the last letter, S, in Lion Martial Arts, is printed closest to the end of the belt. If this customer had selected an upward direction, the letter L would have been closest to the end of the belt.
You may order text and bars, or just text or just bars, by making your exact selections here. We will e-mail a mock-up image of your exact belt to you, for your approval, before we begin embroidering your belt.
The belts are Sun Brand belts. The embroidery will be done on the non-label side of the belt, so that the Sun label does not appear alongside your text or your bars. These are high-quality belts with finished ends, 8 rows of lock stitch, 1.75 inches wide. Hand-wash only, no bleach, drip dry.

A mock-up of your embroidered belt, with English words or phrases, is available at no extra charge upon request. If you would like to see a mock-up, please tell us in the "special instructions" field on this page. We will create the mock-up, email it to you, and await your approval (or modifications) prior to embroidering your belt.
Korean translation is also available upon request at no additional charge. If you would like your name or other phrase embroidered in Korean (based upon a phoenetic translation, in Roman letters), please include a note about this in the "special instructions" field on tis page. A Korean translation will add about one week to production time of your belt.
If you have the name or phrase you would like embroidered on your belt in Korean symbols, we can copy this onto your belt. Please contact us via email to learn more about this optional service.
